EVENT OF THE YEAR

TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE

What a glorious day! Stallholders were a bit worried that the overcast sky heralded a wet day and some were questioning whether to buy a ticket or not, but they went ahead, even when it was reported that heavy rain was falling just down the road at Hallett Cove. Then, just before the market started, the sky began to clear and it turned into a really glorious day. Those stallholders who stayed away missed out on a good market. Not that many stalls, but plenty of buyers. Once again it proved the point that our market reserve does not get the same amount of rain as other suburbs.

 savings and bargain shopping

for second-hand, home grown fresh fruit and vegetables, and plants,  or home made

jewellery and crafts; antiques, collectables, bric-a-brac, old wares, computers,
trash and treasure, and much more

New vendors are welcome. Ring 61 (08) 8382 5539

Dealers are welcome to come and browse,
but they are not permitted to sell.
That is one of the rules that makes this a great market, and reputedly one
of the best and most unique in Australia.

This is a craft market as well as a genuine trash and treasure second-hand market, held twice each month and best of all it is free to the public.

The market is managed by a committee of volunteers dedicated to  help the the people of  South Australia by providing one of the  friendliest, longest running, most stable markets in the State.

If you are a new stallholder and have a grizzle, don't grizzle amongst the other stallholders, speak to the committee to clarify any position you are not happy with.

Our Patron is "The Mouth From the South" Councillor Artie Ferguson - see his web site
