1.    How do I book a stall?
Tickets are available at the market for future markets.
See the Ticket Officer,  but do not wait in the car until they start to let you in because all tickets may sell out before you get to the gate.
Or you may ring (08) 8382 5539 for advice on posting your money

3.    Can I buy a ticket on the day?

Buy your ticket at the market for future markets, if possible.

Between September and May inclusive, it is inadvisable to turn up without a ticket or you may not get in.

It is very disappointing to pack your gear and turn up without a ticket only to be turned away because there are no tickets left.

The Original Open Market is limited to 100 stalls, which sell very quickly.

During the winter months from June to early September, you may get a ticket on the morning, but it is not guaranteed.  The market is so popular that during the other months you definitely run a risk if you have not pre-purchased your  ticket.

November and December markets can sell out two months in advance.

6.     How often is the market held?

The market is always held on the first and third Sunday of each month between 9.00am and 2.00pm.

This if not every fortnight nor every two weeks!  Sometimes there are five weeks to a month.

Even if a special market is held in between, the market always reverts back to the scheduled first and third Sundays as usual.

Stallholders cannot enter the reserve before 9.00am and must be clear of the reserve by the 2.00pm deadline.

7.  Can I hire a trestle?

Trestles are not available at the market due to a lack of space for storage.  If you require a trestle you must bring your own, or improvise with card tables etc.

8.   Why can't I get on before 9.00am?

As part of the Original Open Market Inc.  mandate, as laid down by our Development Approval, stallholders may not enter the reserve until 9.00am.

The committee have special permission to set up early so they are free to organize the stallholders.  They do not sell until the stallholders enter.
